1. Purpose
An’du is committed to operating ethically, lawfully, and with integrity. This Code sets the minimum standards of behaviour expected in all An’du activities in the UK.
2. Core commitments
We will:
- act honestly and fairly in all dealings
- comply with applicable laws and regulations relevant to our business
- treat people with dignity and respect
- protect customer, partner and business information
- take a proportionate, risk-based approach to managing compliance in our supply chain (including manufacturers)
3. Anti-bribery and corruption
Bribery and corruption are prohibited in any form, including facilitation payments. Gifts or hospitality must be reasonable, proportionate, infrequent, and transparent, and must never influence (or appear to influence) business decisions.
4. Conflicts of interest
We avoid situations where personal interests could conflict with An’du’s interests. Any potential conflict must be disclosed and managed appropriately (for example, where a personal relationship or financial interest relates to a supplier, manufacturer, or retail partner).
5. Fair dealing and competition
We compete fairly. We do not engage in dishonest practices, misleading claims, or unfair treatment of customers, partners, or competitors.
6. Product integrity and customer trust
We aim to provide products that are safe, compliant, and accurately represented. We take customer feedback seriously and act promptly where issues are identified.
7. Confidentiality and data protection
We protect confidential information and personal data, sharing it only where necessary and with appropriate safeguards. We follow our Data Protection Policy.
8. Working with manufacturers and suppliers
We expect manufacturers and suppliers supporting An’du to operate lawfully and ethically, including respecting worker rights and maintaining safe working conditions. Where concerns are identified, we will investigate and take proportionate action, up to and including ending the relationship.
9. Speaking up (raising concerns)
Anyone working with or for An’du is encouraged to raise concerns in good faith. Reports can be made confidentially to lizzy@an-du.co.uk. Retaliation against anyone who raises a genuine concern is not tolerated.
10. Breaches
Breaches of this Code may result in corrective action, termination of relationships with third parties, and/or reporting to relevant authorities where appropriate.
