1. Our commitment

An’du is committed to conducting business ethically and in compliance with the UK Bribery Act 2010. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption.

2. What we mean by bribery and corruption

Bribery is offering, giving, requesting, or receiving anything of value to improperly influence a decision or secure an unfair advantage. This includes facilitation payments (small unofficial payments to speed up routine actions), which are prohibited.

3. Gifts and hospitality

Gifts/hospitality must be:

  • reasonable, proportionate, and infrequent
  • transparent and recorded
  • never intended to influence a business decision

Pre-approval is required from a co-founder for any gift or hospitality above £50 (or any hospitality involving travel/overnight stays). Cash or cash equivalents are not to be offered or accepted.

4. Working with manufacturers and third parties

An’du uses manufacturers and may engage third parties. Where relevant, we will take proportionate steps to ensure partners understand and comply with this policy, including:

  • confirming they maintain appropriate ethical standards
  • escalating and addressing concerns promptly
  • ending relationships where serious breaches are identified

5. Record keeping

All accounts, invoices, and records must be accurate and complete. No “off-book” payments or misleading entries are permitted.

6. Raising concerns

Anyone working with or for An’du is encouraged to report concerns in good faith via:
Email: lizzy@an-du.co.uk (for confidential reporting)

7. Breaches

Breaches may lead to termination of contracts/relationships and, where appropriate, reporting to relevant authorities.
